The Kent Connects website is maintained for your personal use and viewing. Access and use by you of this site constitutes acceptance by you of these Terms and Conditions which take effect from the date of first use.

Intellectual property

The names, images and logos identifying Kent Connects, government departments and their agencies, third parties and their information, products and services are proprietary marks of the Crown and/or third parties. Copying or use of these logos accessed via this website is not permitted without prior approval from the relevant copyright owner.


You do not have to ask permission to link directly to pages hosted on this site. We do not object to you linking directly to the information that is hosted on our site. However, we do not permit our pages to be loaded into frames on your site. The Kent Connects pages must load into the user’s entire window.

Virus protection

Kent Connects makes every effort to check and test material at all stages of production. It is always wise for you to run an anti-virus program on all material downloaded from the Internet. We cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, disruption or damage to your data or your computer system which may occur whilst using material derived from this website.

Privacy statement

If you are a user with general public and anonymous access, the Kent Connects website does not store or capture personal information of users with general public access, but does log the IP address of a visitor. We do not use cookies for collecting personal information and we will not collect any information about you except that required for system administration of our web server. The system will record your e-mail address and other information if volunteered to us by you. This shall be treated as proprietary and confidential. Any volunteered email address will only be stored by us on our mailing list for future comms. Of which you have the right to opt out of at any time.

Anonymous information about page visits is collected using Google Analytics.

Using our website confirms your acceptance of our cookies.

Where our website links to external resources or websites, these may add their own cookies. These are outside our control. Cookies can be disabled by changing the settings on your computer browser, but you may need to re-enter information at times.


Emails that we send to you or you send to us may be retained as a record of contact and your email address stored for future use in accordance with our record retention schedule and relation to the original reason for contact.

If we store your email address for any reason it will not be used for any purposes beyond those originally consented to, and we do not share any personal information given with any third parties.
